At this day and age, social media advertisement is essential for promoting a business and expressing the true colours of your Organisation. I believe, there is no one that flaunts their business better than Sportsbet. They tailor to their target audience far greater than and business that I can recall, utilising humour and satire at every given opportunity. As the target market is largely males who like sports and are aged from 18 and upwards, the way they advertise is unique and grabs the attention of anyone in this chasing target market. A recent campaign, as seen on TV, utilises Todd Carney who recently struck headlines with his “Bubbles” antics. Sportsbet, knowing this current trend, utilised this to their advantage and created a video advertisement that had me in hysterics. This isn’t the first time they’ve struck gold with their advertisements, as their marketing technique always seeks to utilise trends to their advantage, and is a serious credit which I’m sure has gained a return for effort.
