Through the eyes of the consumer

To determine current trends of sport’s promotions, the first step was to like page’s of many different organisation’s who promote sport within Australia. This includes pages such as the Advertiser, 7AFL, and Gambling Agency pages who often post provocative posts in order to trend issues and stay relevant. As you may know, the digital world is based off an algorithm which tracks the data we share with it, whether we like this or not. By following such pages on Facebook and Instagram, I will not only receive information from these companies, but also the promotion’s of similar organisations who often pay to promote their business on social media platforms. This is the first step in determining what trends are circulating, and how Marketers can attract new consumers and retain customers by the promotion of sporting events and exclusive deals.
